Biography

Charles Kipruto Kiprono is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and the founder of Sheria Tafiti, a legal research and advisory practice serving clients across the legal, environmental, and climate finance sectors.

His practice was built on a straightforward premise: that the legal instruments governing land, resources, and communities are only as strong as the research behind them. Over the course of his career, he has advised on matters spanning regulatory compliance, environmental licensing, and the structuring of carbon and conservation projects — work that sits directly at the meeting point of statute, science, and the interests of the communities affected.

Sheria Tafiti was founded to formalise that approach: a practice where legal advisory, environmental assessment, and community engagement are treated as a single discipline rather than three separate services.
